Problems with the Core Antispam Engine: What you can do

Currently, problems are occurring in connection with the Core Antispam Engine, which are already being worked on intensively by an external manufacturer. Here you will find our current recommendations for action.
What are the problems?
System
- The temporary services directory C:WindowsServiceProfilesLocalServiceAppDataLocalTemp cannot be used.
- A high CPU load occurs.
- The service process crashes.
Email processing
- Misclassification of legitimate emails from freemailers (false positives) leading to rejection.
What do I have to do?
The following measures provide a temporary solution:
System
- Add the directory C:WindowsServiceProfilesLocalServiceAppDataLocalTemp to the exceptions of the local virus scanner. You can find out how to do this in the NoSpamProxy documentation.
- Restart the Core Antispam Service daily, for example via Windows Task Scheduler.
Configuration
- Our recommendation is to create an Allowlist rule with restriction to affected senders with an SCL value of 5.
