New certificate chains at SwissSign

Based on a completely revised software platform, SwissSign has recently been operating a new PKI. Managed PKIs from new customers will be provisioned in the new environment with immediate effect. However, this does not yet apply to customers who use the CMC interface for automatic certificate creation.

NoSpamProxy, for example, uses this way to apply for certificates. Therefore, it is important to mention in advance that one uses this technology when applying for a SwissSign MPKI. This is the only way to ensure that certificates can be obtained smoothly. SwissSign is planning to also offer the certificate request from the new environment via the CMC interface starting in October.

In any case, we recommend importing the new certificate chains to ensure uninterrupted certificate operation. The new chains are already included in the relevant root stores, but it makes sense to be on the safe side here. You can download the new certificate chains from the relevant provider page.
