Changes in NoSpamProxy Cloud: What you need to do now
The update of NoSpamProxy Cloud on November 14, 2023 brought numerous changes, such as the 32Guards Sandbox, URL Tracking and a new provider for Managed Certificates. The latter requires intervention from customers who use Managed Certificates.
What has changed?
As already mentioned in the release notes, the update brought new features, changes and bug fixes. One of these changes concerns our cloud-based feature “Managed Certificates”. Due to technical changes to the external interface, problems could occur in rare cases when applying for new certificates since September 26, 2023. Thanks to manual intervention by our support team, we were able to issue certificates correctly again from October 2, 2023.
With the update of November 14, 2023, NoSpamProxy Cloud is connected via a more stable and high-performance interface. This change was finally implemented by our technical cloud team on November 17, 2023. Our customers can therefore benefit from this adjustment with immediate effect.
What you need to do
To be able to use the Managed Certificates module to its full extent again, you must revalidate your domain(s).
To do this, you simply need to remove and re-add the domain(s) under Identities > Certificates and publish the newly generated DNS validation token in your DNS zone. As soon as this is considered valid, your certificates will be issued and renewed again fully automatically. Please also refer to the corresponding page in the NoSpamProxy documentation.
Customers who have already been switched to the temporary solution from October 2, 2023 by our support do not need to repeat this process.
Deleting and adding domains under Identities > Certificates has no effect on your email communication.
