NoSpamProxy Protection ATP: New Protection Mechanisms for Modern Threats
Cyberattacks are constantly evolving. In particular, previously unknown malware, tampered documents, and threats detected with a time delay pose major challenges for companies.
NoSpamProxy Protection ATP is a new security module that enhances existing email security with additional protection mechanisms, 32Guards Recall and the 32Guards DeepFile Analyzer. NoSpamProxy Protection ATP thus combines in-depth analysis of suspicious files with the ability to respond to threats that are detected only after an email has been delivered.
32Guards Recall
Not every threat is detected immediately. New information about malware or other indicators of an attack may not become available until minutes or hours after the original delivery.
With 32Guards Recall, NoSpamProxy can respond to such new findings and retroactively neutralize emails that have already been delivered.
Administrators have several options available:
- Notifying administrators about the detected threat
- Replacing the email content with a warning message
- Forwarding the affected message to a clearing mailbox for further investigation
All measures can be flexibly adapted to the requirements of the respective organization.
In addition, emails can also be manually recalled via Message Tracking to enable a targeted response to security incidents.
32Guards DeepFile Analyzer
The new 32Guards DeepFile Analyzer analyzes file attachments using static analysis methods. This process examines files without executing them. Instead, the 32Guards DeepFile Analyzer examines, among other things, file structures, embedded content as well as scripts, and identifies the intended behaviour.
This allows malicious files to be detected in a very short amount of time without having to endure the delays associated with traditional sandbox solutions. At the same time, it makes it more difficult for malware to bypass sandboxes, since the analysis does not rely on executing the file.

Content Disarm & Reconstruction Now Supports PowerPoint
CDR (Content Disarm & Reconstruction) technology now also supports Microsoft PowerPoint files.
CDR removes potentially dangerous active content from documents and creates a secure version of the file. This allows users to continue accessing the necessary information while reducing the risk posed by embedded malicious functions.
With support for PowerPoint, NoSpamProxy expands the existing protection mechanisms for Office documents and helps further reduce security risks posed by PowerPoint files.
More Convenience in the Outlook Add-In
For users of the Outlook Add-In, version 16.2 offers an improvement in usability: The add-in now supports Task Pane Pinning.
This allows the NoSpamProxy panel to remain open permanently, eliminating the need to display it again for every email. The feature is available both when reading and composing emails and makes it easier to use NoSpamProxy functions in Outlook on a daily basis.
A Strong Foundation for the Next Generation of Email Security
With version 16.2, NoSpamProxy Server continues to expand its security and usability features. In addition to support for PowerPoint files in CDR and improvements to the Outlook add-in, the focus is particularly on the new features of NoSpamProxy Protection ATP.
With 32Guards Recall and the 32Guards DeepFile Analyzer, organizations gain new capabilities to detect modern threats early and respond flexibly even to emails that have already been delivered.
With the release of NoSpamProxy Server 16.2, customers can already take full advantage of the features of NoSpamProxy Protection ATP and test them in their environment. Until the ATP license becomes officially available, companies can evaluate the new features and gain practical experience before ATP is subsequently made available as a standalone license module.
