NoSpamProxy is delighted to have been inducted into the Hall of Fame of the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). The Hall of Fame was established on the occasion of Email Security Year 2025 and honors companies that have made a special contribution to IT security. The BSI, together with the eco Association of the Internet Industry and the digital association Bitkom e.V., has declared this year to be Email Security Year. The aim is to make email traffic in Germany more secure across the board and thus strengthen digital resilience. All companies and organizations in Germany are encouraged to participate and protect their email communications by evaluating sender reputation and using encryption.

This is what the Email Security Year achieves: Together, we are making email traffic in Germany safer across the board! To this end, we have persuaded companies that operate or offer email infrastructure to implement our technical guidelines for secure email transport and email authentication – either for themselves or for others who use the infrastructure.“

BSI recommendations for email encryption and sender reputation
As part of Email Security Year 2025, companies that operate email infrastructures or offer related services are called upon to implement the BSI’s technical guidelines on secure email transport (BSI TR-03108) and email authentication (BSI TR-03182) in their own systems and for third parties using this infrastructure. This involves implementing six key procedures or standards: SPF, DKIM, DMARC, DNSSEC, DANE, and TLS or, alternatively, MTA-STS.
