A new approach to email security: NoSpamProxy begins the process of internationalisation
For two decades, we at NoSpamProxy have been doing everything we can to make email communication more secure and efficient. Based in Germany, we have made a name for ourselves as a manufacturer of email security solutions in the DACH region and can now easily hold our own against global providers. Now is the right time to take our unique approach internationally and open up new markets.
From local success to a global vision
In 2005, our story began with a diploma thesis, which ultimately formed the basis for an email security gateway that has been effectively combating spam and malware ever since. Over the years, we have continuously developed NoSpamProxy further, with functions such as
In 2020, we reached the next evolutionary stage with the launch of NoSpamProxy Cloud. Our hybrid approach, which provides both the cloud and the server solution with the same range of functions, creates maximum flexibility for all NoSpamProxy customers.
Sustainable strategies for global markets
With the release of NoSpamProxy version 15.2, we have set an important milestone for our internationalisation. The ability to use administrative notifications in NoSpamProxy in any language is a first but important step towards internationalisation.
However, it is not just the language that is decisive. Rather, it is the underlying technologies that make the difference, and they are convincing:
For the 8th time in a row, we have completed the official Virus Bulletin Testing, in which the detection rates for spam and malware from all over the world and in all languages are tested, with top marks. This gives us and our partners the certainty that NoSpamProxy will also set standards on an international level.
Initial events in Benelux countries
Last year, we were able to organise valuable partner events in the Benelux countries, laying the foundations for successful expansion in Europe. These first steps have shown that our modern approach to email security is meeting with great interest in international markets.
In 2025, we are therefore participating in further events in the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Norway and Denmark (Events | NoSpamProxy). These events are an important component of our internationalisation strategy and offer the ideal platform for entering into dialogue with local partners and companies. Our aim is to further establish NoSpamProxy in these target countries and, together with our partners, to strengthen IT security in the long term.
Rethinking the Spam Folder
Dispensing with email quarantine is one of our unique selling points. Thanks to up to 30 filter levels, emails are checked directly at the gateway and either allowed or blocked before they reach the organisation. This has numerous advantages:
In addition, the non-delivery report (NDR) ensures maximum transparency so that every blocked email remains traceable. The quality of this solution is regularly confirmed by independent tests: In Virus Bulletin’s renowned VBSpam tests, we filtered spam and malware from all over the world with an impressive detection rate of 99.9x%. At the same time, our false positive rate has remained constant at 0.0% for over two years, a decisive advantage for international expansion.
